San Francisco, CA | October 30, 2026 – QuantumMed has partnered with Flexpa to give its members access to their medical records inside the QuantumMed platform. With a patient's permission, Flexpa pulls medications, allergies, conditions, and medical history from health plans, providers, and the TEFCA national network, so members can manage prescriptions and refills with their full history in one place.
Most people who take several medications see more than one doctor, and their records are spread across each office and health plan. A medication that was stopped at one practice can still show as active at another. An allergy recorded by one doctor may never reach the next. QuantumMed uses the patient's actual records to keep their medication list accurate and up to date.
QuantumMed also supports family plans, so one account can manage prescriptions for everyone in a household. Each family member has their own profile, filled in from their own records.
Through Flexpa, QuantumMed connects to more than 350 health plans, 80,000 providers, and the TEFCA national network. Adults verify their identity with CLEAR or ID.me and connect their records in a few steps. Parents can add a child's records through their health plan's dependent access or a provider's patient portal proxy access, where available.
"As a Service Disabled Veteran, I quickly realized that healthcare information is often scattered across various providers, health plans, pharmacies, and patient portals, making it difficult for patients and families to maintain an accurate and complete picture of their health. Through our partnership with Flexpa, QuantumMed members can securely connect and access their health records and prescription information in one place. This integration supports our vision of QuantumMed as a Digital Health Companion that helps individuals and families stay organized, informed, and in control of their healthcare journey," said Tony Rayfus, Founder and CEO of QuantumMed.
"Your medication history shouldn't depend on what you or your family can remember at the pharmacy counter. Flexpa's job is to make it retrievable in one request, with the patient's consent, so teams like QuantumMed can build on top of it instead of chasing it," said Andrew Arruda, Co-Founder and CEO of Flexpa.
All data access is authorized by the patient through Flexpa's consent process and follows CMS Patient Access API standards and TEFCA requirements. Patients choose what to share and can revoke access at any time. Flexpa is listed in the Medicare App Library.
